Who will use your data?

Fundación Palace Resorts, I.A.P. (hereinafter, “Refettorio Mérida”) is the Data Controller of your personal data. Our domicile for hearing and receiving notifications is Carretera Cancún Puerto Morelos km 21, Manzana 01, Lote 1 – 11, Edificio A, Supermanzana 47, Municipio Benito Juárez, Cancún, Quintana Roo, C.P.77506.

What information may we request?

To provide our services, at Refettorio Mérida we must manage the following data:

1. Identification and contact data, such as full name or cell phone;
2. Personal characteristics data, such as date and place of birth or family data;
3. Social circumstances data, such as housing or access to social services data;
4. Labor occupation data;

Do we request sensitive data?

In order to take care of your health and provide you with personal services, Refettorio Mérida requests information about your state of health and your religion, which may be provided voluntarily and when we have requested your written consent in the corresponding questionnaires or forms.

Data of minors or third parties

We may process data of minors if you, as Guest, are under 18 years of age or if you provide the data of a minor as an emergency contact.
If you provide the contact data of third parties to contact them in case of emergency, we will inform them that you have provided us with their data for such purpose.
Parents and legal guardians may exercise the ARCO rights at any time or revoke the consent for the processing of the personal data of minors who have provided their data to Refettorio Mérida.

What do we use your data for?

We may process your personal data for the following main purposes:

• Register you as a Guest of Refettorio Mérida
• Elaborate your profile and evaluate your needs, with information from questionnaires and observation of the use of our services.
• To try that you do not receive products to which you are allergic.
• Recommend and direct you to social, spiritual or emotional assistance services that may be useful for you.
• Share success stories with our partner “Food for Soul”.
• Ensure compliance with the laws applicable to Refettorio Mérida, including its transfer to the competent authorities for audits or accountability.
• To fulfill judicial and administrative obligations and requirements, by competent authorities.

Refettorio Mérida does not process your data for additional purposes.

With whom may we share your data?

We may share your information, both within and outside of Mexico, in the following cases and for the stated purposes:

1. To our staff members of GRUPO PALACE RESORTS, for the purposes of centralized safeguard of information and statistics.
2. Food for Soul, our international partner, for monitoring, reporting and auditing purposes.
3. Social, spiritual or emotional assistance service providers, to support you in your search for employment, housing or other services, and only if you previously authorize it in writing on the corresponding forms.
4. Persons subject to medical professional secrecy or equivalent obligation, when the transfer of your health data is essential for medical care, prevention, diagnosis, the provision of health care, medical treatments or the management of health services.
5. Judicial or administrative authorities, for the fulfillment of legal information obligations or information requirements properly supported and warranted.

ARCO rights

You can request access, rectification, cancellation or oppose the processing of your personal data (“ARCO Rights”). In such cases, you can request a copy of the Unique Format for the Exercise of ARCO Rights that will be available to you at Refettorio Mérida or by email on derechosarco@palaceresorts.com. In this format we will indicate the information and documentation necessary to meet your request.

In any case, we will respond to your request within 20 business days from the date it is delivered to Refettorio Mérida. If your request is incomplete or incorrect, we will ask you to complete or correct it within the next 10 business days, in order to avoid that we reject it.

Revocation of consent or limitation of the use of your data

You can revoke your consent for the processing or transfer of your personal data, at any time.

If you revoke your consent and such revocation is appropriate, we will stop processing your data for the purposes indicated in this Notice. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we cannot guarantee that the revocation of your consent prevents third parties who have had access to your data from continuing to use them, because they can use your information for their own purposes.

Changes to this Privacy Notice

Refettorio Mérida may modify, update, extend or in any other way change the content and scope of this Privacy Notice, at any time and at our complete discretion and responsibility. You can request the latest version of this Privacy Notice from Refettorio Mérida staff members or consult it on the website www.refettoriomerida.com, section “Privacy Notices”.
